    ​The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the University of Nigeria Alumni Association (UNAA) Owerri Branch warmly invites alumni, corporate organizations, government institutions, friends, and well-wishers to participate in the upcoming 112th National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting & 28th National Convention.

    ​As part of the traditions of this historic gathering, a commemorative Official Convention Brochure will be published. This publication presents a premier opportunity to showcase your brand, advertise products and services, or send goodwill messages and congratulatory felicitations to the National Executive Council (NEC), the host branch, and distinguished alumni worldwide.

    28TH NATIONAL CONVENTION

    ELECTORAL GUIDELINES

    1. NOMINATION FORM
    Click “Download” below to obtain the Electoral Nomination Form.

    2. NOMINATION FEES
    The following non-refundable fees apply:

    • ₦50,000.00 – Fifty Thousand Naira Only: Office of National President
    • ₦30,000.00 – Thirty Thousand Naira Only: Office of Deputy National President and Office of National Secretary
    • ₦15,000.00 – Fifteen Thousand Naira Only: All Other National Offices

    3. NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS

    • The Nomination Form must be attested to by the Branch President and the candidate must be nominated by at least two (2) members from different branches.

    • Publication of List of Contestants: 8:00AM, Saturday, 12th September 2026.
    • End of Campaign: 1:00PM, Saturday, 12th September 2026.
